MICROBIOLOGY SERVICES

MicroBioCA LABS has been providing microbiological testing services for mold and other indoor air quality (IAQ) parameters since 2003.  Our Microbiology division in Texas is accredited under the AIHA-EMLAP (Lab ID 102929) program for the analysis of indoor air quality samples.

MOLD ANALYSIS

Non-Viable Mold

Non-viable analysis by direct microscopy is the most widely used method to identify mold spores.

  • Airborne
  • Tape Lift, Bulk, Swab
  • Sporetrap, Air O Cell/Micro S

Viable Mold

Viable analysis using standard mycology practices provides a more accurate identification of mold spores.  Viable samples require time (5-10 days) for cultures to mature enough to be accurately identified.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

IAQ analysis can be performed for dust characterization, allergens, and a number of other IAQ contaminants.
